Often described as the Voice for voiceless, Fighter by spirit, Jat by birth, Philanthropist by profession, Activist by mission, Humanitarian by choice, Gandhian by vision and action, being habitual scout warrior, speaking truth as passion and what not, Smt. Sukanya Berwal’s contribution as Scout and Guide to Animals and Birds has always been outstanding.
Smt. Sukanya Berwal played an extremely key role for the introduction of all 11 SPCA’s at each District Headquarter be established, keeping in view her tireless services, nothing for gain and profit, but performing her fundamental duties. She has incredibly contributed towards the Educational field to sensitize students towards performance of their fundamental duties, to which Maharishi Dayanand University responded along with the Haryana Board of School Education.
She had been a non-official Member of the District Public Relation and Grievances Committee (Govt. of Haryana), Rohtak and during her tenure she took all concerned animal welfare legislations and suggested that they should be implemented and thereby prohibited the unlawful and illegal transportation of animals along with slaughtering.
Having a Bachelors and Masters in both Science and Education and currently pursuing PhD, Mrs. Sukanya has received several appreciations from various District Administrations of Faridabad, Gurugram and Jhajjar for her outstanding endeavors.
