Smt. Droupadi Murmu, the Hon’ble President of India, gave three Padma Vibhushan, five Padma Bhushan, and forty-seven Padma Shri Awards for the year 2023 during the Second Investiture Ceremony, which was held today (April 5, 2023) in the Darbar Hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan. On March 22, 2023, the First Investiture Ceremony took place at Darbar Hall.
Vice President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Speaker of the Lok Sabha Shri Om Birla, Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation Shri Amit Shah, and other Union Ministers and dignitaries were among the dignitaries in attendance.
At a meal hosted by the Union Minister of Home Affairs and Minister of Cooperation at Sushma Swaraj Bhavan in New Delhi following the investiture ceremony, Shri Amit Shah and other Union Ministers spoke with the recipients of the Padma Awards.
