Vineeta has had an illustrious academic journey and an exemplary professional and public life. An alumnus of the prestigious School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi. After working for a decade in the public sector, she pursued her Master in Public Administration from the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore in 2010, on a scholarship from the Government of Singapore.
Post this, she has been with various multilateral and bilateralagencies with the Government of India, where she designed national policies and led the implementation of several flagship programs of the Government of India in the domains of Rural, Urban, and livelihoods. She is a voracious public speaker and a thought leader in diverse issues of Nation Building and is today deemed as one of the leading public policy and program implementation experts in India.
Vineeta has also recently founded her own social enterprise called “Sankassa Foundation”, through which she aims to bring about holistic development in defined urban and rural areas of administration. In this, she plans to focus on taking up micro-level community issues in select States and through a series of dialogues with grassroots level functionaries, with an attempt to find policy solutions at the State and National levels. Besides also holding National level policy dialogues with experts and leaders on issues of topical relevance.
She also has a creative side and has published a book of poems called “Sun the Sea child” and dabbles in theatre, and has strong opinions on issues of socio-political relevance, and passionate about being the change she wants to see.
