Starting her career in 2011 as a Wintel Engineer at Hewlett Packard Malaysia, she transitioned to Infrastructure Engineering before discovering her true calling in cybersecurity. In 2019, she managed security for 10 countries at MetLife Asia, navigating complex challenges and strengthening vulnerability management.

Despite being in a male-dominated field, she embraced challenges head-on, proving her leadership and expertise. In 2020, she faced a personal and professional test—balancing a high-stakes APAC security project while coping with her mother’s passing. With determination and support from her mentor, CTO MetLife Asia, Chan Kwok San, she persevered.

In 2023, she earned the Top 25 Cybersecurity Star of the Year award, leading to her recruitment by AEON Credit in 2024. She is now preparing to embark on a new journey with a new company and position, aiming for a C-level leadership role. She will also receive an International Recognition Honorary Doctoral Degree from Azteca University for her leadership and contributions in the Cybersecurity area. Additionally, she is honored to be featured in Elite Corner as part of “The Most Empowering Leaders To Watch – 2025” by CXO Time Magazine, with an opportunity to be featured as “Top Leader of the Year” by Passionate Magazine.

Her advice to aspiring cybersecurity professionals: stay focused, work hard, and embrace opportunities. Success is built on consistency.
