Introducing a Leader with a mix of compassion and curiosity. Mahera Goel’s educational philosophy centers around children finding their talents and voice through innovation and agentic opportunities. Her mission is to build an effective Teacher and Principal pipeline that can lead and create culturally proficient school communities with a voice in designing safe and inviting spaces, focusing on organizing to learn versus managing to execute.
Completing a decade in corporate hallways, playing with numbers, brands, and creative sales pitches, Mahera Goel now walks through spirited corridors filled with playfulness and engaging conversations with children and families. Her vision is to curate and redesign pedagogical environments that nurture emotional intelligence alongside academic excellence.
An Educational Administrator with over 20 years of experience, Mahera Goel excels in Instructional Leadership. An Alumni of the Harvard Graduate School of Education with a Master’s in School Entrepreneurship and Leadership and a Mumbai University topper with a Bachelor and Masters in Education, her skills and attributes transfer beautifully to her roles as an entrepreneurial leader.
She is the Principal of the Early and Elementary School at Fazlani L’Academie Globale, an IB World School. Leading as the first Chairperson of the IBPYP Mumbai Network of Schools, she is the Vice-Chair of the Association for Heads of IB World Schools in India and a member of the SAIBSA Executive Committee (South Asia International Baccalaureate Schools Association). An IBEN (IBO Educator Network) Workshop leader and School Visit Team Member, she leads professional development and mentorship for schools across the Asia Pacific.
A Teach SDG’s Ambassador (Sustainable Development Goals), Mahera Goel, believes that each child has a story, and we must make time to hear those stories. Her School Social Responsibility (SSR) initiatives have supported the NGOs; Akanksha, Jai Vakeel Foundation, Aseema, Muktangan, ADAPT, Make A Wish Foundation, Mumbai Mobile Creche, Salaam Balak, and orphanages.
She is an eminent speaker at Teaching and Leadership Conferences and recipient of many School Awards for STEAM, Social Impact, Technology, and Community Outreach.
