Saurabh is currently the Vice President & Managing Director at PT Bumi Tangerang, the largest cocoa processor in Indonesia, managing the operations of large operation with a 500+ workforce in Indonesia. As part of his time in Olam, he is keen on identifying opportunities to improve business process flows and overall departmental productivity. By going through time and motion studies, identified gaps in productivity and right sizing the organization gave morale a boost and profitability despite of business cycles in cocoa processing industry. Saurabh has driven commercial and supply chain excellence through his role in cocoa bean supply chain business by joining the same in initial years of its growth cycle and expanding ofi’s Indonesia cocoa bean procurement business with a thorough understanding of its value drivers in cost focus and sustainability. He eventually became business head of Indonesia cocoa bean business before moving to cocoa processing vertical and eventually heading overall Indonesia cocoa business in 2021.

Over the years, he has received numerous honors and awards including being named in the top exceptional leadership for the Maha Intrapeneur award and wining the Excellence in leadership award from Olam cocoa in 2014.
