He was inspired by a friend who got into one of the best Investment Bank in an operations role with a Bachelors in Zoology. That gave him hope but companies refused to even interview me because of his not so relevant Architecture degree. He went to Dubai looking for a job, attended close to 50 interviews and managed to get selected in 30 but he didn’t take any of them because he didn’t see himself fit in there. They were not aligned to his vision. He came back to India and he managed to find a crash course on investment banking operations, the institute promised to arrange interviews with top investment banks. He got an interview even before the course got over.  He  didn’t get the first one but  got the rest three. He chose to join Societe Generale, a French investment bank in March 2016 after 3 years of struggle. 

With no academic knowledge about finance, he was wondering how will he going to excel here but he nailed it. He grabbed every opportunity to learn about what was going on in his division. He regularly got cross trained with other teams to get an idea of how the whole process works. He managed to get an onsite opportunity, a promotion and a fat bonus in 2 years. After 2 years and 8 months He didn’t see growth in the team and he couldn’t move internally because of lack of vacancies at that time. One day, he decided to quit and move to Dubai again to look for an opportunity.  

Pradeep was inspired by a 17-year-old flaunting his posh McLaren car on Instagram, which he had apparently bought from the earnings he made through his E-Commerce business! Pradeep recalls, “I was curious and got in touch with him and he offered to sell his learnings and experiences as a course for a fee of $500. Initially I thought it was a scam, but if it was not, it could change my life. So, I took the risk and it was totally worth it. I registered the domain www.shopenzer.com on August 26, 2020, and the rest followed.

Shopenzer was registered in India and in the USA, Mr. Pradeep was managing the business from Dubai, his partners and staffs were located in India, goods were shipped from China to around the World. That very same week he was doing an assignment on Globalization as part of his part time MBA. Shopenzer is truly a global company and has grown exponentially month on month. He has reached more than 150 countries and 6 continents in terms of traffic and 110 countries in terms of sales. 

Empowering women has been one of their major goals. Majority of their staffs are house wives who couldn’t continue working post marriage or after giving birth. Thanks to the idea of work from home. Mental health is something he emphasis a lot in his social media handle, so he decided to allocate 1 hour during working hours for their employees to do Ho’oponopono , a healing technique originated in Hawaiian Island centuries back . It helps in purifying one’s body and getting rid of unpleasant memories or emotions and keep the mind in a positive tune in daily life.
