Mr. Milind Thekedar is the Managing Director of JBS Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. He graduated with Bachelors in Electrical Engineering in the year 1980 from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), then a Regional College, and one of the premier institutions in the country. He started his professional career as a Junior Engineer with Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) at 400 kV Receiving Station Construction Division, Koradi, Nagpur where he was responsible for erection and commissioning activities of the substation.
With eight years of experience in the field, as well as exposure to the Power Sector of India, he started his own business venture, JBS Enterprises. Securing and executing contracts in and around Nagpur was a modest beginning for JBS Enterprises. Steady growth and expansion of the operations driven by the unique vision of Mr. Thekedar led to the relocation of the head office of JBS Enterprises to Thane in 1993. Subsequently, in 1996, JBS started providing Operation & Maintenance services.
Over the years, the innovations in the business model of JBS Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. and resultant sustained growth has established Mr. Milind Thekedar and JBS Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. as trustworthy partners to the Utilities and other clients in the Power Sector of India. JBS specializes in providing services for Operation and Maintenance (O&M) of extra high voltage (EHV) Substations and Transmission Lines. JBS Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. is currently providing services in 18 states & 1 Union Territory at more than 350 locations with a workforce of around 3000 employees.
