He worked in NTPC from 1985 to 2016 in different power plant of NTPC Ltd at various capacity in operation, maintenance, erection, and corporate operation services Noida. He has presented technical paper in National & international seminar & workshop. He has been deputed as CEO and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of Prayagraj Power Generation Company Limited (PPGCL) by The Tata Power Company Limited (Tata Power) effective 4th December 2019.

PPGCL, is operating a 1980 MW Thermal Power Plant (TPP) consisting of 3 x 660 MW Units, at Tehsil Bara, District Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh and as per the PPA PPGCL is supplying 90% power from the Project to State of U.P.

PPGCL Plant was taken over from erstwhile Management, M/s JAL in Dec 2019 by Resurgent Power Ventures Pte. Ltd (a joint venture between Tata Power, ICICI Bank Ltd and other reputed global investors)
Being a Takeover stressed asset, there are lots of challenges in the plant starting from very high outage, non-Availability of support from OEM, non-availability of spares, Critical infrastructure like proper approach, left over jobs, non-commissioning of many systems, Auto loops etc. Since taken over of the PPGCL, all three unit were running at Manual. CMC & other auto loops were not commissioned by the OEM due to legal arbitration. This is resulting units are running at poor operational parameter with lower efficiency. Also, Unit was suffering with huge losses due to not achieving the Commercial Parameter since inception.
