During a visit to India in 2017, he was sitting with his co-founder in his eyewear shop and observed the struggle his co-founder faced in acquiring eyewear materials from different vendors and the threat posed to small retailers by big businesses. This is where the idea for UrbanLens88.com was born. He and his co-founder set out to solve this problem, by combining his experience in information technology with his co-founder’s experience in the eyewear industry—a winning combination. Today, UrbanLens88.com serves over 200 retailers across various states in India intending to go global.

With over 20 years of experience in Information Technology, especially in Mobile Applications and Machine Learning, he was able to set up the entire IT system for UrbanLens88.com. Based in the USA, he has taken a back seat in the day-to-day operations of UrbanLens88.com. He was also involved in another startup, www.myshapa.com, where he worked to bring the MyShapa solution from concept to market as the architect of their application. MyShapa is a successful startup helping many lives with weight management across multiple countries.

Having worked with some of the best companies and startups in his more than two-decade-long career across multiple countries, he holds a Master’s in Computer Applications and has completed some of the best leadership and management certifications from Harvard Business School. He has always been an entrepreneur at heart. He currently works with one of the most reputed companies in the world, touching the lives of billions of people through his daily work.
