At the young age of 19, Abhishek started working in the sports management industry when it was still at a nascent stage back in 2012. He has won the Indian education award for the best sports academy in India back in 2019.

They started Athletes today sports management in 2017 with a small team and a handful of clients. It is an agency that believes in working for sportsmen beyond cricket. 2016 Olympics was a great example for us to understand that why India only won 2 medals. Since then, the company has managed to work with players from Indian women’s hockey team, Indian football team and Indian Cycling team.

They also represent football players from UK & Spain in Indian Super League. Athletes Today also acquired the rights for the Global brand IMPS Smurfs in 2021 for the Indian market. Their areas of expertise are in sports marketing, athlete endorsement, celebrity management, grassroots events and licensing.

Abhishek’s vision is to see India thrive in the world stage as a sporting nation. Indian athletes will lay the foundation of inspiration for the future of our country. Sports unites us all, teaches leadership, character building and skill that kids don’t learn in a class room.
