Any individual starting their own business either in products or services, navigates through five critical pillars. “Motivation” which according to entrepreneurs’ experience is crucial in the initial years to fuel through challenges. The second category is “Business idea” which is again crucial to chart out a clear idea. “Quality” is the third important factor to impress both customers and defeat their competitors. Next comes “Knowledge” which is invaluable to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors. “Business plan” is the last and most crucial category to facilitate the process and make it easier to follow their goals.

Today, India is home to a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, with a growing number of startups, incubators, and venture capital firms. India has witnessed great leaders such as Mr. Tata, Mr. Dirubhai Ambani, Mr. Narayan Murthy to name a few. Through visionary thinking, resilience, and calculated risk appetite, they’re running global businesses that employ millions. India is rapidly positioning itself as a significant player in the entrepreneurial ecosystem as well, boasting over 11200 startups including 111 total unicorns, making it the third-largest startup ecosystem in the world after the US and China.

With the ‘IAA for Entrepreneur of the Year’ award, we, at Indian Achiever’s Forum intend to recognize and honor entrepreneurs for structuring what remains an abstract idea in many peoples’ minds. Our primary goal is to promote MSMEs and Start-ups and to ensure that the government and society as a whole understand the needs of the business community and its contribution to the nation’s well-being.
