With over more than 18 years of industry experience as Project Engineer and Consultant and 14 years of teaching experience as HOD and Professor in Mechanical Engineering in a reputed Engineering college and a researcher. He has published 26 research papers in Scopus and international journals and many research proposals submitted. He has published 2 Patents, 4 Book chapters and author of Text book in Mechanical Engineering. He is a Resource person for many Faculty development programs, Chaired the Conference session, acted as keynote speaker in International Conferences, and as a distinguished Panelist in University programs.

Dr. Sridhar was a member of BoE of Visveswaraya Technological University, member of internal quality cell, and adopting best practices in teaching-learning outcome-based education process. He has conducted many student and faculty development programs through workshops, seminars, webinars, in-charge as R&D Head for funding and academics, and student projects head. His research work has brought many awards, viz., Best Paper Award, Research Excellence Award, National Eminent Researcher Award, National Eminent Editor Award, National Eminent Author Award, International Researcher Award 2020-21, Global Innovative Educator Award 2021, by Western Sydney University, National Elite Teacher Award 2021, Best Faculty Award 2021. He has received Award Certificate for 100 Eminent Academicians of 2021 #I2OR and a Certificate from Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell, Govt. of India. He is a Chief-editor, and reviewer of many technical books and journals. He is also a Life member and Fellow member of notable Professional institutions.
