For her contribution in the field of education, Dr Niyati was accorded with Inspirational Icon of the Year Award 2020 by ICCI; Top 50 Effective Principals of the year by Education Today; Principal Par Excellence by International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM); Progressive Principal of India by Rethink India; Best District Principal by Science Olympiad Foundation etc. She has also been a Bill Gates & Melinda Gates Scholar in TEDActive 2014 Conference in Canada.
Her immaculate experience has also helped her reap numerous sweet fruits of success in the form of awards that she has been bestowed with. She was appointed as an external expert for the Board of Studies of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) at Chitkara College of Education. Furthermore she also addressed more than 175 international delegates from 18 different countries on the topic “Transformation in Education: Vision 2030” at International School Awards (ISA) 2018 ceremony and conference held at Dubai, UAE. Besides this, she has been a speaker at Singapore Conference organised by Ed Tech and represented India in one of the International Leadership Exchange Program focusing on Adapting and Implementing CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning). She has also represented Chitkara University in the first intra-consortium CLIL camp in Ciudad Real, Universidad de Castilla La Mancha University (UCLM), Spain.
As per her, to be impactful in the education sector, especially when talking about school, one has to have the capability to create responsible citizens who are amply enriched with utilitarian as well as universal skills & values. In line to this, she has been focusing on the same and has developed a school where a child can acquire quality education and lessons for life. Another pioneering distinction of her leadership is generating robust staff strength, having more than 180 international collaborations, having mobile app for parents to connect and communicate with the school just at the click of the button and kindling flame of education among more than 30,000 people. She has also been instrumental in bridging the gap between school and university. Apart from this, adhering to her research and following the shadow of the book written by her – Assessment Quotient, published by German publishers, LAMBERT, it is always her effort to be practical and innovative in assessing learning and providing student a friendly curriculum, entrepreneurship opportunities and novel teaching methodologies and spur students to undergo research tasks, scientific discovery, innovative thinking and curiosity to learn more.
