Dr. Shah has had an extensive career. After serving Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited as for 42 substantial years, he superannuated on 31st December’19 as General Manager (Liaison & Co-ordination). He has rich and diversified experience of handling various assignments such as Materials Management, Fuel and Non-Fuel retailing, Retail Brand, Compliance related matters such, Vigilance, RTI (Right to Information Act). Proficiency in managing Transportation/Tracking encompassing customs documentation, clearance, logistics, inventory control & analysis and other allied functions. Verifiable talent for maintaining profitable retail operations, with success in capitalizing on growth opportunities, implementing promotional/marketing strategies, and upholding fiscal integrity. Articulate communicator and effective trainer skilled in achieving employee buy-in on organizational goals. Respected, trusted professional who upholds highest ethical standards.

His list of professional achievements is quite long. Some of them include-

• Efficiently managed and accomplished / commissioned the Materials warehouse in 1984 with the help of team which was a major challenge.
•  Adeptly carried out the receipt / storage/ dispatch of materials worth crores of rupees was carried out with minimum lead time to upcountry for various jobs by developing various sources.
•  Instrumental in developing appropriate scientific accounting procedure for stocks worth in crores
•  Resourcefully identified the detection / theft of materials during transit and successfully retrieved material without any loss to the corporation.
•  Instrumental in implementing ISO 9002 Quality Management Systems at Miraj Oil Terminal (Maharashtra) in the year 1995/96.
•  During his tenure Miraj Oil Terminal bagged three awards for safety and housekeeping constituted by government of Maharashtra.
•  Miraj Terminal was honoured with the British safety council award for excellence in operations.
•  Keenly contributed and helped supply installation obtaining two safety awards organized by Government of Gujarat and certified for IS 9002 for Koyali Installation (Gujarat State)
•  Actively involved in creating awareness by way of implementing quality & quantity programme at petrol pumps for customers benefit.
•  Adroit in the implementation of Assy Abloy system on tank lorries to curb the malpractices
•  Successfully conducted various training programmes for staff, dealers
•  Proficiently supported and mentored two students of Indian institute of materials management as a part of course study for a project.
•  Monitored juniors /trainees to develop work /system related process by way of guiding them as mentor, this were captured in the form of project work wherein I had played the job of project guide. Number of projects; 17
•  Developed system for document preservation and easy retrieval which could optimize the storage space and bring in efficiency in terms of time management.

Currently he is pursuing his Doctorate in Business Administration from American Business Management and Technology College, Zug Switzerland.
