Dr. Nithyanandam is an Educationist and always seeking opportunities to improve his teaching-learning process. He attended a two weeks hands-on workshop on “Teaching-learning process” organized by Wipro Mission 10X intuition with Cambridge University (UK) during 2012. In the post workshop outcomes, he received the “Train-the-Trainer” certificate from Cambridge University for demonstrating some of the techniques he used in his classrooms. Later, he trained 412 faculty members on creating question papers using Bloom’s Taxonomy with SMART and how to use different teaching-learning techniques/styles based on audiences. He published a couple of papers based on the outcomes of these sessions with the department head and the college Principal.
PSG CARE was formed to train the faculty to Today’s teaching-learning process requirements. Ganesh is the Program Coordinator for PSG College of Technology. He has coordinated more than 100 programs since inception (2015).
His Ph.D. work was in the field of Industry 4.0. He completed DRDO-ARDB project in the field of Cyber-Physical System as Principal Investigator. The project outcomes were exuberant with three patents (US Utility patent Number 9971343 B2 dated May 15, 2018, Indian Utility patent Number 334766 dated 16/03/2020 and Indian Design patent Number 315866 dated March 18, 2019) awarded in his name. .

Recently, he completed INDO-UK Industry-Academia collaboration project ““Digital Literacy”: shaping Industry 4.0 engineering curriculums via factory pilot-demonstrators” sponsored by Royal Academy of Engineering (UK) in association with Newcastle University (UK) and PSG Industrial Institute. With partnering institutions , they have recommended 13 courses to be a part of their Industry 4.0 curriculum.
His research focus is in the area of Industry 4.0 and he is looking forward to collaborative research opportunities.
