Currently working as a Substation Lead Engineer – P&C at Westwood Professional Services, he has spearheaded the development of proprietary Substation Protection & Control (SP&C) and Relay settings standards for Westwood. He has also led the revision and creation of SP&C standards for Westwood’s Clients thereby enhancing the efficiency and reliability of renewable energy substation designs in the industry. His groundbreaking Bus Potential Transformer (BPT) transfer scheme has been adopted as a standard methodology by a client, showcasing his ability to address complex engineering challenges while delivering significant cost savings. His professional journey has seen him excel in various roles, from designing high-voltage transformers to leading teams of engineers in complex projects.

His academic credentials are equally impressive. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, and a bachelor’s degree from Delhi College of Engineering which is one of India’s top institutions.

As a Senior Member of IEEE, his contributions are noteworthy – having participated in the development of multiple standards, including the recently published IEEE 3001.9-2023.

His commitment to advancing electrical engineering is further evidenced by his active involvement in reviewing and voting on draft IEEE standards, and IEEE conference papers, and contributing to new standards.
