Dr. Sagar Kulkarni‘s major forte lies in settling foreign ventures in India and making them successful, and by that way generating employment and foreign exchange for the country through exports. He is also a successful entrepreneur, he launched an engineering service-providing company www.catalydd.com in 2020, and in a short period, it has become a global brand, employed 250 employees, and already served more than 150 established automotive brands across the globe.
Currently, he is heading a Swiss group Komax Testing as MD for their Indian venture, again a technology provider company in the automotive market. He has been awarded an honorary doctorate in business management by ASSOCHAM (Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India) in collaboration with “Young University” US. For his immense work in the automobile industry in turning around businesses.
He has been relentlessly working in the automotive industry for the last 30 years heading various European businesses in India and handling multiple technologies like plastic injection, electrical, electronics, diecasting, vacuum coating, dispersion, chemicals, and engineering services.
Along the side, while he was helping European MNCs to establish themselves in India, he was also training many leaders in the industry. Today there are many legendary leaders in the industry writing big success stories are trained by him. He has expertise in developing business strategies in challenging environments and executing those in tandem with real-life challenges. His every assignment in the industry was to turn around the business and he handled it successfully.
Along with being a charismatic business leader, he is also a soft-hearted poet, fitness enthusiast, a motorbike rider, blog writer, and singer and very soon he will publish a book authored by himself.
