A Business Leader with a Heart
Mr. Shailendra Mruthyunjayappa, President of Fintellix Solutions Pvt Ltd, is a business leader, technologist, and entrepreneur. He has been part of the core management team at Fintellix Solutions for over a decade, from its early days as a Bangalore born start-up, through to the current period where Fintellix is considered a leader in the data management, compliance, risk and analytics space. Shortly after its acquisition by Verisk Analytics Inc. (a NASDAQ listed, S&P 500 company), Shailendra assumed the role of President at Fintellix. He is currently responsible for the Fintellix business as well as growing the global delivery centre for Verisk Financial.
Shaili, as he’s more commonly known in his personal and professional circles, started his career in 2000 as part of product development teams at PKTech in India/ Malaysia and Temenos Switzerland, later worked for Inlaks West-Africa, went on to start-up a consulting firm in Central Europe, before joining Fintellix in 2010.
Shaili holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from BIET Davangere, has completed his Management Program from IIM Calcutta, and also has various certifications in executive leadership, project management and contract law to his credit.
Mr. Shailendra is actively involved in philanthropic activities, heading the CSR initiatives at Fintellix, and leading the charitable activities of Dr C N Mruthyunjayappa Trust. His areas of interest are empowering disadvantaged people through education and vocational training, assisting needy people through preventive healthcare and emergency relief, and promoting rural service through engagement with local communities. He also invests a part of his personal time to mentor start-ups which helps fuel his imagination.
On the personal front, Mr. Shailendra is an avid traveller, a voracious reader, and a sports enthusiast.He describes himself as a “student of life”, and believes that the right balance of professional, personal and social responsibilities brings purpose, passion and peace in life.
