Dr. Bhakare is an award-winning academician and has been conferred with the ‘Best Teacher Award’ by Pune Municipal Corporation for her outstanding contribution to the field of education. She has a Ph.D. in Commerce and has published her research on Corporate Social Responsibility. She is the recipient of Outstanding research paper awards at National and International level.

She is also a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and has dedicated her life to creating entrepreneurs.

She has pioneered innovative initiatives in entrepreneurship and sustainability at Symbiosis College by launching the Entrepreneurship Development Cell to create a holistic and practical learning experience for future entrepreneurs and conducting activities like flea market, pre incubation support for start-ups, promotion of art entrepreneurship, and research journals and magazines. Her mission is to ensure that future business leaders develop the knowledge and skills required for sustainability in core business strategies, take risks, develop innovative solutions, products and processes, and build value for society while protecting the planet.

In addition to her work as a professor, Dr. Bhakare is also an accomplished researcher. She has published over 30 papers in national and international journals and has presented her research at various international events, including the English Speaking Union’s ‘International Relations Conference’ at Oxford University, Harvard University, Tarumagara University, Indonesia and the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning at Cambridge University.
