Ms Anjali Sharma has been associated with technology for over two decades. She has made a niche space in Technology and Innovation in her 19 years of professional journey. She has successfully led multiple, first of its kind strategic and innovative projects in emerging technologies, some of them of strategic national importance and subject of global case studies by different nations. Currently she leads a vertical in India in Technology space for a global multinational organisation, leading projects spanning multiple global geographies. She also contributes to CSR initiatives pertaining to promoting Women in Technology and mentorship for youth aspiring to make career in Technology. In professional journey, she brings a good balance of understanding business perspectives and domain experience. She has been a speaker on technology, women in technology and other subjects in various forums.
She is a Computer Science engineer from Thapar University, Patiala, with Roll of Honour and Institute Gold Medal. She completed her MBA in Finance from S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai. She is a certified PMP professional. She is a Rashtrapati Guide Puruskar awardee from the President of India. She won an award in Google Technology Premier League. She has her name in Limca Book of Records. She won the Prof V. Raja Raman award for Computer Science and Indian Inspirational Women Award 2022, for Innovative Technologies. She has won many local, regional and national level awards and recognitions in various fields.
She enjoys painting, dancing and basketball. She played basketball at district level, cleared Sangeet Bhushan (I) for classical dance. She was an NCC Cadet (Army wing) and was nominated for the Best Cadet. She was a troop leader for 33 pupil guiding patrol.
