A Vision To Make Education Affordable And Not A Privilege For The Few
Aditya is a Finance Professional with 16+ years of experience and presently the Director of Finance of the SIS Group of Schools – www.sisschools.org – one of South East Asia’s largest network of schools that was recognised by the IFC (World Bank)- Financial Times (UK) for its Transformative Work in Education. He is a thought leader, avid speaker on various subjects and has appeared at various forums as speaker and panel member giving his views about “Social Infrastructure”, “Real Estate” and “Education”, and “Businesses with Impact”. He is also the recipient of the international award for “Outstanding Leadership in Education” from Dubai.
He has always had a very keen interest to make an impact through the businesses he is involved in. This was the reason why he joined SIS Group of Schools, which aims to make quality international K-12 education affordable and accessible.
He hails from a very humble background, and his own education has helped him succeed and overcome challenges life has thrown his way. He strongly believes that One Educated Child changes the course of future generations and, hence, it is his dream and ambition to change the lives of 100,000 families by providing Education to 100,000 kids. He strongly believes that quality education ought to be affordable and not just for a privileged few. And he believes a society that wishes to have an improved version of the next generation must focus on providing affordable and quality education with the right supporting social infrastructure. His work with SIS Group of Schools has provided him with exactly this opportunity since the SIS Group of Schools has a mission to bring quality education to a number of countries and to establish 50 affordable schools across ASEAN, South Asia and Africa. Together with his previous education experience, Aditya and the SIS Group of Schools have partnered like-minded people to start Schools in India, Myanmar and South Korea.
Aditya is a philanthropist at heart and believes in the teachings of his father. His father taught him that “Start to donate just One Rupee every day. It may be a very small amount to you and to the receiver, but do it daily, because when you do it daily it instills the habit in you of doing something good every day. It is less important how much you can help someone but it is more important that everyday you are helping someone”. He also serves as a trustee of a Charitable Institution based out of India. He lives this belief by personally supporting the education of 20+ kids and providing food and medicines to 400 + families every year.
