He is currently Vice – President at DeHaat. With 7L+ farmers associated with the platform, DeHaat is a leader in the agri-tech domain, transforming agriculture with AI-driven technology solutions and streamlining the entire supply chain of the farming sector in India. Dr Chauhan is responsible for driving new initiatives of DeHaat.

He holds Phd in Management, MBA in Agribusiness Management, MSc in Food Technology and BSc in Agriculture and Animal Husbandry. He is an alumnus of prestigious G. B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pant Nagar, India.

Prior to DeHaat he was Chief Operating Officer and Director Consulting Services, Incubation and Business Development at Indian Society of Agribusiness Professionals ISAP and Director-Indigram Group. Prior to this while being CEO and Director of International Agriculture Consulting Group (IACG) and Indian Council of Food and Agriculture, IACG made it to the prestigious list of top 10 Agri Consultants. He has worked with corporates like Reliance Retail, Cargill Foods, Mahindra and Mahindra, Godrej Agrovet, NBHC, Origo Commodities, Nirulas etc.

He has also developed international cricket grounds of Mullanpur Mohali and at Indira Gandhi International sports stadium Complex, Haldwani, India with state-of-the-art sub-surface drainage system.

Currently he is on advisory board of Africa Agribusiness Alliance, AgTech Insight California, Ghana India Trade Advisory Council- Ghana, Global AgTech Council, Lovely Professional University and working group member of National level Committee of Agri StartUps in India.

He has worked and handled projects in India and Africa with various cross cultural teams ranging from India, US, Australia, Israel, Ethiopia, Angola, Mozambique, South Africa , China, Norway, Middle East and South Asia.
