Being an entrepreneur had never been a way of life for Smritee since she hailed from a background of the Armed Forces and Private Sector employees, but the learnings in her early life helped build a strong base for the path ahead.

Smritee pursued her academics with Institute of Hotel Management (IHM Goa) and passed out in the year 2010. Having worked with various hospitality brands like IBIS, Sun N Sand Group of Hotels, Yamazaki Mazak, Resnet Technologies, she took it in her stride to handle the online revenue management department at revmerito. She comes with an experience of nearly a decade in the hospitality industry.

Being with revmerito, she had the opportunity to increase and grow her skills in terms of not only handling clients but also working on building a team. She learned how to use analytical methods and implement newer ideas which helped hotels increase their online revenues and got a broader perspective on how online revenue management services along with the right mix of technology could be used to boost business for hoteliers. Her entrepreneurship journey was never a cakewalk but with the right support from the Founder and her timely innovative skills helped her succeed and collectively reach the platform revmerito stands at today. 

She shares a bit of advice for all the aspiring and budding entrepreneurs “Be willing to try and believe that you can make the difference. As a first step, develop and enhance your soft skills, be your own critic and value yourself for the efforts you take.”
